The Weight Has Gone Up Too Much, I Need to Lose It – Otherwise, What's the Point of Earning Money?

Hello friends, I’ve been quite overweight since childhood. My weight started increasing in 3rd or 4th grade because of junk food, and by the time I reached 8th grade, I weighed 100 kg. Obviously, my parents tried to control my weight using Ayurvedic medicines, but nothing worked. Then I tried to lose weight through the gym, but as long as I kept going, I would lose weight, and the moment I stopped, it would come back. This happened 3-4 times with me. When I took a drop year for my IIT-JEE preparation in 2011–2012, my weight went up to 127 kg, and I began experiencing breathlessness and heart palpitations. After that, I started walking and controlling my diet, managing to bring my weight down to 112 kg in 6 months. Later, when I stopped going to the gym, my weight didn’t increase much because that time I had lost weight through weight training, not just cardio. Then I went for the Triund trek, but I had to turn back halfway because I didn’t have enough stamina to climb the whol...

Weight bahot badh gaya hai, use kam karna hoga, varna kya hi fayda paise kamane kai?

Hello doston, Main bachpan se hi kaafi mota tha. Mera weight 3rd, 4th class mein badhne laga tha because of eating junk food and 8th class tak aate aate, mera weight 100 kg ho gaya. Obviously, mere parents ne try kia weight control karne ka using ayurvedic medicines, but wo hua nahi. Phir maine gym ke through weight kam karne ka try kiya, lekin jab tak gym jao, weight kam hota tha, phir jaise hi gym chhoda to weight phir se badh gaya. Aisa 3-4 baar hua hai mere sath. Jab maine IIT-JEE ki prep ke liye drop year diya tha, in 2011-2012, tab mera weight 127 kg ho gaya tha and mujhe breathlessness and heart palpitations hone lage the. Uske bad maine walk karne aur diet control karke apne weight ko manage karna start kiya and 112 kg tak aa gaya in 6 months. Uske bad maine phir gym chhoda to zyada weight nahi badha because maine weight training ke through weight loss kiya tha us bar, sirf cardio se nahi. Phir main triund trek par gaya and wahan par aadhe raste se hi wapis aa gaya because mere...

I Am a Wage Slave

Hello friends, Yesterday morning, I woke up a bit late. At first, I thought I’d work from home. Then I considered taking a day off. But then I remembered that going to the office is important—otherwise, both my work and job might get impacted. So, I got ready without any motivation and went to the office and did my work. While getting ready, I felt that somehow, life is confined within the boundaries set by my job. If I can’t even live without my employer’s permission, then what is this if not slavery? It’s been 9 years since I started working a job. In the beginning, the salary was low, so I thought that if I worked hard, my salary would increase and life would get better. Now the salary has increased. I can afford a comfortable life. But now it feels like I must keep working just to maintain this lifestyle. Quitting isn’t even an option—who will pay the home loan EMIs and monthly expenses? Then I remembered Robert Kiyosaki’s ESBI quadrant. Right now, I’m an Employee , the...

Main ek wage slave hoon

Hello doston, Kal subah main thoda late utha tha. To pehle maine socha ki work from home lelun, phir socha ki chhuti lelun, phir yaad aya ki office jana zaruri hai nahi to kaam aur job dono par impact aa jayega. Bina mann se tyaar hua, office gaya and kaam kiya. Sab subah ready ho raha tha to feel hua ki kahin na kahin job ki boundaries se life limited hi to hai. Bina employer ki permission ke to main jee bhi nahi sakta, ye slavery nahi hai to kya hai. 9 years ho gaye hain mujhe job karte hue. Starting mein salary kam thi to lagta tha ki badiya kaam karunga to salary badh jayegi and life better ho jayegi. Ab salary badh gayi hai, comfortable life jee pa raha hoon, to aisa lagta hai ki ab is lifestyle ko maintain karne ke liye job to karni hi padegi, chhodne ka option bhi nahi, varna home loan emi aur monthly expenses kaun bear karega. Phir mujhe robert kiyosaki ka wo quadrant yaad aya, wo ESBI wala. Abhi main employee hoon, jo ki sabse zyada sataya jata hai. Mujhe self employed banna h...

Just Had a Dream: I Was Talking to an Old School Friend

Hello friends, I had a friend in school — let’s not name him. In the beginning, I didn’t really like him because he was very popular and also rich. My grades were better than his, and I used to wonder — why don’t people value me, and why do they value him? He had 3 qualities I didn’t: He was good-looking He was rich He was very funny I used to be very jealous of him and secretly wished he would die. Then, in 5th grade, I distanced myself from that friend circle and formed a new one — the Geek Squad . The Geek Squad supported me a lot till 8th grade. But I turned out to be quite a jerk. In 9th grade, after I lost some weight and started listening to English songs, I got a bit of attention from the “cool kids,” and I left the Geek Squad. From 9th to 12th grade, I tried hanging out with the cool kids. When I was slim, I could blend in easily. But when I gained weight again, I felt like I didn’t deserve a spot among them. That old friend of mine, by then, had gone from being a “c...

Abhi sapna aaya: Main school mein ek dost se baat kar raha tha

Hello doston, School mein mera dost tha, let's not name him. Mujhe starting mein wo zyada pasand nahi tha kyunki wo bahot popular tha and rich bhi tha. Mere marks usse zyada aate the aur mujhe lagta tha ki log mujhe bhaav kyun nahi dete, usko kyun dete hain. Uske paas 3 qualities thi jo mere paas nahi thi: - 1. wo good looking tha 2. wo rich tha 3. wo bahot funny tha Mujhe bahot jealously hoti thi usse and main chahta tha ki wo mar jaye. Phir 5th class mein maine us friend circle se doori bana li and ek naya friend circle form kar liya - the geek squad! The geek squad ne mujhe bahot support kiya till 8th class. Lekin main bahot harami nikla, 9th class mein jab maine thoda weight lose kiya, and english gaane sunna shuru kiya, to mujhe thodi attention mili cool kids se and maine geek squad ko chhod diya. 9th se lekar 12th tak maine cool kids ke sath hangout karne ka try kiya. Jab patla tha, to easily mix ho jata tha, jab mota ho gaya to aisa laga ki main cool kids mein spot deserve n...

I Always Wanted to Start My Own Business

Hello friends, I started reading about the world from as early as 9th grade, and around that time, I came to know about Bill Gates — how he was a college dropout and still went on to build Microsoft. Then, when I reached 11th grade, the movie The Social Network came out, which was about the story of Facebook. Even in that, Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of college. Steve Jobs also dropped out of Reed College and went on to build Apple. So after watching all these movies, I felt like — if such great people are dropping out of college to chase a business idea, then maybe if you start your own business, you don’t really need to go to college or do a job. That’s why I always wanted to do my own thing. I started blogging in 11th grade and even began earning money from it. But since I don't come from a business family, I wasn’t able to scale that business. So for the last 9 years, I’ve been doing a job. A job is okay for a while, but in the end, when you run your own business, you build eq...
