How I Tried Alcohol for the First Time
Hello friends,
My father used to consume alcohol regularly.
And after drinking, he would become very angry and even dangerous.
Because of this, I never liked alcohol. In fact, somewhere deep down, I hated it.
But in 11th grade, I watched a lot of English movies and TV shows where drinking alcohol was portrayed as completely normal.
People would drink and have a lot of fun.
That’s where my curiosity about alcohol began.
I poured a peg from my father’s bottle into a Gatorade bottle and took it to my room.
When I took the first sip, I found it extremely bitter and disgusting.
After 2–4 sips, I flushed the rest of the drink down the toilet.
Honestly, there’s probably nothing worse than alcohol when you try it for the first time.
Later, I shared this experience with my friends, and they gave me a sweet Breezer to try. I liked the taste a lot.
Then I tried whiskey mixed with half soda and half water, and that tasted okay too.
That’s how I started consuming alcohol.
Of course, I didn’t drink regularly, but I was always curious to try it whenever I got the chance.
Now, it’s been almost 15 years since I started drinking occasionally, and depending on the season and weather, I sometimes enjoy it.
Like today, I was watching Game of Thrones, and people were drinking wine in it—so I bought wine and had two glasses. Felt pretty good.
Normally, I prefer drinking beer in the summers and rum in the winters.
But I drink very little because alcohol has a very bad effect on weight.
Alcohol can cause weight gain very quickly.
